District Executive Committee Meetings

District 19 and the District Executive Committee are bound by Toastmasters International Policy. and Protocol.  One of the policies set forth by World Headquarters is regarding who attends the DEC meetings. These meetings are not open to the public.  Attendance is limited to the voting DEC members, and those that have business before the district executive committee and have been invited by the district director to attend the district executive committee meetings.


The remaining DEC meetings for 2017-2018 will have attendance limited to the voting members (Trio, Finance Manager, Administration Manager, Public Relations Manager, Immediate Past District Director, Division Directors, and Area Directors) and assistant Area Directors.  Those asked to serve as trainers and presenters will also be included.   All others wishing to attend must have approval and an invitation from the District Director, Jeanne Heil. Those that do not have an invitation will not be able to stay for the meeting.


If you have official DEC business that you would like to have considered, please reach out to the District Director at least one week before the DEC meeting to request attendance to the meeting.  She will review your request and notify you and the DEC sergeant at arms of the decision.


The District Council business meetings that are held during our district conferences are open to the public.
