Have you ever thought about how much a conference costs? If you think it is too high-think about this – the basic charges are: the venue, all the various things needed at the venue usually are charged by the piece (mics, risers, table cloths, food including meals and snacks, handouts, programs, forms, etc.)These are all paid from our registration fees and donations. One of the ways we can offset the cost of registration is RAFFLE BASKETS!! The better the basket, the more money we can offset, thus creating a lower registration cost. The perfect catch 22 in reverse.
We are asking for raffle baskets and will be selling raffle tickets at the conference.
Below are a few suggestions. You do not have to use any of them and go for your imagination. Some of the best ones are the ones that have multiple goodies in them. Sometimes these are from one place and have been a donation, or a club asks folks to donate money and someone purchases the goodies either food goodies or on a certain theme. Club members donate things to toss in a basket on a theme or something they would like to win.
Theme of the conference is Building Bridges; Create connections.
