Toastmasters manuals are fairly cheap, but it gets more expensive once you add shipping. What if you could get Toastmasters materials without paying for shipping?
You can! The District is taking orders for Toastmasters materials to be delivered at the District 19 Conference on November 8 and 9. And, for you, the shipping is completely free!
How does it work? Here are the three simple steps:
- Go to the Toastmasters website and shop for the items you want. http://www.toastmasters.org/Mainmenucategories/Shop.aspx
- Let the Lieutenant Governor of Education and Training, Mark Latta ([email protected]), know what materials you want before October 24. Please provide an item number and quantity for the materials.
- Mark will order them and bring them to the conference.
- You attend the conference (or send payment with a trusted associate) for the base price of what you wanted.
- Mark will pass on what you ordered to you or whoever is carrying your payment. What he won’t pass on is the cost of shipping!
- You go home with your new Toastmasters stuff.
- All your friends, neighbors, and fellow Toastmasters envy you.
- You consider taking Mark out for a nice meal with all the coin you pocketed!
Want to save more? If you have achieved an educational award beyond your first CC between July 1 and October 24 of this year, you are eligible for the “Automatic Manual” program.
