It’s was a busy conference! Here are a few other clubs that earned important recognition over the weekend:
* The Traveling Trophy returns to the possession of Crossroads Storytellers advanced club. The award is determined through a formula that calculates the club with the most club officers and members attending the conference multiplied by a distance traveled factor.
* CDS Global Toastmasters of Des Moines was winner of the Distinguished by Conference drawing. The club won its choice of a video camera or a projector (value $300). All 40 clubs that earned five or more Distinguished Club Program goals by the start of the conference were entered into the drawing. Congratulations CDS Global!
* Nexus Toastmasters of Des Moines won the drawing for a video camera in the Capture Your Success membership incentive program. All clubs that met their monthly new member quota and told Lt. Governor of Marketing Paul Wood were entered into the drawing. Congratulations Nexus Toastmasters!
* Sunrise Marion Toastmasters won the trophy for the best basket contributed to the District for the conference-supporting basket raffle.
