Gil Norris was presented the Cap Sias award at the July 27, 2016 regular meeting of the Hilltop Toasters Club.This is a once in a lifetime award for a District 19 Toastmaster for a Lifetime Achievement of Service and Commitment to Toastmasters in District 19. Gil received this award primarily for both is long support to eastern Iowa Toastmaster Clubs as Area Governor and Division Governor numerous times, but primarily for his devotion and subsequent achievement by the Hilltop Toasters Toastmaster Club #7889 located inside the East Moline Correctional Facility, a State Prison Institution which is part of the Illinois Dept. of Corrections.
