First Time Conference Attendees On behalf of District 19, WELCOME to your first conference! You are very special as a First Timer that you have our own Bill of Rights! Check out the First Timers’ Bill of Rights.
You are invited to a First Timers meeting at 4:15pm on Friday afternoon to meet the District Trio and hear what to expect at this conference as a First Timer.
Not sure what to wear? You will see members dressed casual, business casual and business professional throughout the conference. We want you to be comfortable, so wear what makes you comfortable.
At Saturday night’s banquet dinner, many folks will change their outfit and take it up a notch with a more formal outfit. Again, we want you to be comfortable, so dress in whatever makes you comfortable.
After Friday’s sessions, the Hospitality Suite will host a costume party. Feel free to bring your costume and join the party! (Costumes are optional.)
Raffle Baskets Will your club consider bringing a raffle basket? Raffle tickets are sold throughout the conference, with the proceeds helping to offset the expenses associated with hosting the conference. This also helps provide reasonable registration rates for members to attend and Build Bridges & Create Connections.

Banner Showcase In lieu of a traditional banner parade, we will host a banner showcase.
Take a photo of your club with its club banner and email to rebecca.wheeler.tm@gmail.com by 10/27. Please include the following information:
- Club Name
- Club Number
- Club Location
These photos will be compiled into a slideshow and showcased throughout the conference. Also, please bring your banner to display at the conference.
As a reminder, old branded banners (the yellow banners) are no longer permitted to display/showcase at District 19 Conferences. This is to promote the continuity of Toastmasters International branding.
Costume Party The Hospitality Suite will host a costume party on Friday night (10/28). Will you be dressed in your Halloween costume, or a special costume just for Toastmasters? Feel free to join your fellow Toastmasters in the Hospitality Suite Friday night for a costume party (costumes are optional).
