In honor of the October, 1924, founding of Toastmasters International, Iowa Governor Terry Branstad has proclaimed October to be Toastmasters Month in Iowa! Feel free to use this in any marketing you do for Founder’s Month activities in your club, Area or Division.
The signing ceremony with the Governor was attended by District 19 District Governor Mark Latta, Lieutenant Governor of Education and Training Paul Wood, and District Public Relations Officer Brenda Peshak, and Paul’s Wife Dorothea Wood.
